The main purpose of the international conference is to explore current trends in both areas – equal opportunities and domestic and gender-based violence – and enable the comparison of the trends from both regional and international perspectives. In times when democratic principles are being shaken all over the world, our aim is to contribute to the international debate and bring it to not only Czech audience. What are the topics of the feminist debates nowadays? What challenges are we facing today? Are feminist values accepted everywhere and to what extent?
At the same time, this two-day conference intends to present the results of projects supported under the programme, and will also aim at providing a platform for the exchange of knowledge and best practices resulting from bilateral cooperation within the EEA/Norway Grants. The conference targets policy-makers, experts, high-level state representatives, practitioners, service providers, and researchers. It is the closing event of the Let’s Give (Wo)men a Chance Programme and is financed by the Norway Grants.
